Gene opened the Bunkhouse Studio, a custom frame shop, after he and his wife Joan retired to Mohican Country in Central Ohio. Years ago, while studying art at the Lakeland Community College in Lake County, Ohio he worked as a picture framer in a local gallery. Over the years he’s missed the pleasure of helping his customers choose the right frame style and mat color to enhance and beautify their art work. Retirement finally made the dream of owning his own shop a reality.
